I’ll never for get living in Holland when a guy who I had been speaking to well before he got more drunk started repeating, ‘why don’t you speak dutch?’. After repeating I just haven’t learned yet, etc... I got annoyed and just said, ‘because I don’t have a throat infection!’.
ie the letter ‘g’.

Should've tried the deep South of the Netherlands. Or Belgium (Flanders). They can't pronounce the letter G either.

Living in Veghel and working in Helmond was as far south as I got.
The 'g's were easy enough as it's how the Scots pronounce 'ch' in Loch.
